Essay

The results of investigation the problem, concerned with polyhedral through-away hard-alloy tip (PTAHAT) efficiency increasing at complex final treating are presented. The combine method of magneto-abrasive treatment (MAT) in large magnetic gaps and deposition of special wear-resistant coatings by chemical – thermal treatment (CTT) and ion-plasma sputtering was applied. The technological tooling for standard vertical-milling machine, which provides an effective final MAT PTAHAT at large gaps condition was developed. The optimal conditions of interaction between magneto-abrasive tackle and treating surfaces, depending on the aim of treatment were installed. The features of contact interaction between PTAHAT and MAT surfaces at magneto-abrasive treatment under large magnetic gaps condition were determined. The features of kinetics of MAT microprofile surface were revealed and an experimental procedure was worked out. The main regularities of hard-alloy tackle strengthening by MAT were revealed. Different types of coating on various stages of technological process, which combine MAT and special coatings deposition by chemical – thermal treatment and ion-plasma sputtering, were applicated.
