Essay

The dissertation is devoted to investigation of tendency to the unity of natural and social sciences and humanities in contemporary science. Different approaches to problem of relationships between sciences and humanities were examined and some difficulties faced the unity of science were outlined, so as the possibilities to solve the problems were displayed in context of post-non-classical science. Special emphasis is made on the interdisciplinarity and cooperation of different scientific disciplines in complex researches, that lead us to recognition of opportunity to achieve the unity of natural and social sciences and humanities. Modern philosophy of science connects the methodological unity rather with complementarity of various methods that with only one methodological standard. Common features in structure of natural and social knowledge were appeared through analysis of those models of scientific knowledge, which pretended for their universality. An example can be a role of values in appreciating the competing theories. It is shown that tendency to the unity of natural and social sciences and humanities intensifies in post-non-classical science.
