Chigrinets V. Actual state and perspectives of English oak standing forest seed base development in Sumy region

The object is the actual state and the perspectives of English oak standing forest seed base units development; the aim -actual state and using efficiency of English oak standing forest seed base units in Sumy region studied, elaboration of the recommendations concerning to it further development; methods - taxation, biometrical, morphometrical, cytological, mathematical-statistic; the new approach - first to the Sumy region conditions the complex selection-taxation and sanitary evaluation of actual state of standing forest seed base units realised, the new seed stands complex evaluation methods was proposed, the English oak plus trees reproductive ability was evaluated by the results of cytological investigations; the main include - the actual state of gene reserves, plus stands, seed stands and plus trees in Sumy region were studied, the regularity of grown, leaf's morphology and reproductive peculiarities by halfsibs progeny of the English oak best trees were revealed, the reproductive peculiarities of the clons originated from Sumy region were studied, the groups by fruiting intensity were selected; the field is forest tree breeding and seed growing.
