The thesis examined the potential of structuralism's methodology in contemporary social science and humanities researches. The following analysis illustrates the specificities and the context in the establishment of structuralism's core ideas and also the evolution of structuralism itself as the primary factor in the development of structuralism's methodology. The manuscript examines structuralism's approaches in the context of the contemporary researches in the humanities and social sciences, specifically in this era of globalization (exactly, the tendency to structure the studying material is the main feature of structuralism).
