Essay

The thesis is devoted to the investigation of kinetics of the hydrogen-induced phase transformation in hard magnetic alloys Nd2Fe14B type. On the basis of the carried out systematical investigations the main factors determining of kinetics of these type phase transformations has been determined (temperature and pressure of gaseous hydrogen) and for the first time isothermal kinetic diagrams for Nd2Fe14B type alloys (Nd2Fe14B original alloy, industrial alloys R2Fe14B and Nd34.0Fe64.8B1.2) have been plotted. Hydrogen-induced transformations in Nd2Fe14B type alloys have been classified as diffusive-controllable phase transformations proceeding by the mechanism of nucleation and growth on base of analysis of these transformations kinetics carryed out in framework of kinetic transformations theory.
