In the dissertation after study and researches of features concerning redistribution of alloying elements in different phases of titanium and phase transformations in titanium alloys, the theoretical and practical recommendations are developed for choosing an optimal in-terms-of-weldability alloying system of high-strength titanium alloy. As a result, on the basis of system Ti-Al-Mo-V-Nb-Fe-Zr the composition of a new domestic high-strength titanium alloy with high weldability was developed.
