Essay

Object – of investigation is man’s foot with macrodactyly. Aim of study is improvement of treatment results in patients with foot macrodactyly on the basis of biomechanic research of walking, pathomorphologic investigations and study of regenerative potential of bone marrow, creation of surgical treatment system. The technique includes the following methods: clinical – roentgenologic, biomecchanical, histilogic and the method of precursor cells of bone marrow. Novelty showed that biomechanics of walking in patients with macrodactyly was studied; tissue state at foot macrodactyly was studied as well; regenerative potential of bone tissue at foot macrodactyly was studied, growth of enlarged foot bones was studied too. The problems of surgical intervention were solved.
