Essay

Complex systematic investigation of nanosize peculiarities of electronic structure of different atomic-crystal modifications of carbon nanomaterials depending on their sizes have been realized by means of ultrasoft x-ray emission spectroscopy. Reasons of fullerenes molecules and onions particles stabilization were revealed. Influence of defects and sizes of carbon nanotubes on their electronic structure was revealed. The orientation dependence of effect of emission bands narrowing was revealed when going from thick to nanosize fibers. It was established that nanosize energy redistribution of Ср-states in carbon nanomaterials was observed in energy regions corresponding to "pi"-states and conditioned by Срz-orbitals overlapping degree. It was shown that at transition from fullerenes to onions and nanotubes differences in "pi"-overlapping degree inside and outside the curved atomic surfaces with sp2-hybrid bonds reduce.
