Essay

The dissertation is dedicated to the study of light-harvesting complex (LHCII) organization and functional characteristics of photosynthetic apparatus of pea plants under changes of spectral light composition. It was shown, that the addition of red light-emitting diodes to the background light of luminescent lamps of different intensities results to: increase in pigment content, photochemical reaction rate, stability of the oligomeric LHCII forms, efficiency of photosynthetic apparatus functioning.
