Essay

The work deals with theoretical grounds, methodical realization, and practical application of the refraction migration. To study low velocity zones a method of processing of point sounding data, accounting for the kinematic refraction migration is developed. The method allows to process interactively large volumes of data, and is promoted into industry. Improvements are introduced into the technique based upon dynamic migration of the field of refracted waves. The results obtained allow to increase the accuracy of seismic data interpretation.
