Essay

The dissertation is devoted to improvement of operational and ecological performance of multi-spindle automatic lathes by means of reducing vibroacoustic characteristics for a " way tubing - spindle carrier" system. There has been developed a technique of determining rod vibration parameters by optical method. There has been developed a mathematical model of a rotating blank dynamic system. This model takes into account lengthwise weight distribution and different patterns of blank fixing. There have been studied properties of blank fixing unit. There have been found proper frequency and rod oscillation forms taking into account conditions of rod fixing. There have been determined main noise and vibration sources, as well as their specification of quantity. There have been worked out recommendations intended to improve vibroacoustic characteristics of multispindle rod automats.
