The Subject - bursa of Fabricius of poultry and wild-birds. The Purpose - dissertation is devoted to bursa of Fabricius morphology research of poultry and wild-birds on initial stage of sexual maturity and quail in postnatal period of ontogenes. The Methods - macro-, microscopical, electronnomicroscopical, statistical methods, light microscope. The Novelty -it was established for the first time the morphofunctional features of cloacal bursa of domestic and wild birds at the age of sex maturation as well as quail in postnatal period of ontogenesis. It has proposed the criteria of cloacal bursa classification. For the first time it was conducted the complex investigation of topography, macro-, microstructure of quail cloacal bursa and cell composition of its parenchyma in postnatal period of ontogenesis.The outcomes of investigation have been partially applied and will be applied into scientific research while studying animals morphology and in preparation of appropriate manuals and textbooks.
