Essay

The dissertation deals with the development methods of the analysis for the optimum decision under a shape control of monolithic mirrors for space telescopes. Numerical solution procedure of direct and inverse problems to calculate the thin mirrors shape recovery was developed. It involves the simulation of the distortions, the simulation of the shape recovery and checking the accuracy. Is shown that in case of a distortion of a thin mirror by gravitation forces the neglect of nonlinearity leads to an overbalance of displacements.
