Essay

Solving of an actual and important task of developing of systems for computer-aided design of bulky welded carrying structures is given in the work. The system developed is integration of universal CAD/CAE/CAM-systems with special modulus for creating of current geometric and finite-element models of structures being designed with the aim of their stress-strain state multy-variant analysis, which is to be performed for parametric and structural analysis and synthesis of their elements. The possibility of multy-variant analysis is ensured by the use of parametric description at stages of geometrical, mathematical and finite-element modeling of the structures. High capacity wind energy conversion systems frames serve as an example of the structures under designing. Application of the system developed enabled to perform a stress-strain state analysis of elements of wind energy conversion system frame for "Nordex" firm and to work out rational forms of the elements welded joints
