Essay

The thesis is devoted to the issues of cohesive resistance strengthening and porosity reduction of gas-thermal powder coatings by means of electric contact sintering. The author investigates the peculiarities of sprayed layers tightening and heating in electric contact sintering which allow to combine technological parameters of electric contact sintering (ECS) with the properties of the coatings produced. The results of experimental studies that proved the expediency of electric contact sintering to improve the properties of sprayed powder coatings are illustrated and described.
