Essay

Object of investigation: processes in power converters with pulse-width modulation (PWM). Objective: further development of time-frequency signal analysis methods which subsequently used for designing of control systems. Methods: electric circuits theory methods, automatic control theory methods, functional analysis and mathematical modeling methods. Principal results: a technique of wavelet transform application for detection of distortions of currents and voltages is developed allowing to create an adaptive control system for PWM converters. Method of PWM converter switches commutation frequency determination is offered enabling to increase the accuracy of output signals generation.
