Essay

For the first time there were calculated and build diagrams of phase balance in systems B-C-O and Fe-B-C-O with purpose to prognose phase content of the pruducts of wear. Mechanism of oxides formation and depositing the graphite on the surfaces of the contact was substantiated, which was formed in the result of chemical reaction on surfaces of friction. There were offered models of boundary layers of boron containing materials. An effective usage of boron containing materials was estimated.
