Essay

The diffusion kinetics of Не, О2 and Cu dopants in fullerite C60 were studied. The influence of the intercalation on structure, electric, thermodynamic and other properties was studied. For He as a dopant kinetic of the intercalation was studied in details. Thermodynamics of intercalation of He into C60 has been constructed to show that the entropy factor is the main thermodynamic force of the intercalation. The mechanism of the low temperature C70 monoclinic phase creation proposed, the mechanism is based on a role of anisotropic interaction between C70 molecules.
