Essay

The rational modes of aluminium bars melting with protective coating, providing maximum deoxidizing effect and absorbation of aluminium at extrafurnace steel finishing have been developed. The mathematical model intended for numerical research of gas and liquid medium hydrodynamics at low coefficients of gas content, when gas and liquid medium is poorly compressed has been offered. The mathematical model and calculation algorithm of two-dimensional task of aluminium bar melting with protective coating during the process of metal making out of oxygen converter into scoop have been developed. The dependence of melting durability of protective coating from the producing metal temperature has been investigated. The calculations obtained permit giving recommendations on minimum thickness of protective coating of aluminium bar for the most spread steel marks.
