Essay

Thesis deals with investigation of electronic effects, which is appearing at low-energy ions interaction (~100 eV) with the surface of wide-band solids, and with modeling and experimental research of ionoluminescence (IL) and ion-photon emission in the field of low-energy ions. It was shown that IL excitation can occurs as a result of vibrational-electronic excitation of highly excited in ion impact vibrational excitations. The stage model and the micromechanism of IL of two-component wide-band solids (including solids with adsorbed particles) in the field of low-energy ions (5-200 eV) as approximation of multi-quantum vibrational-electronic transition were developed. The effect of tenfold increasing of IL intensity, which is excited with low-energy ions H2+, at UV light irradiation of ZnS,CdS-Ag sample, was found. It was shown, that the vibrational-electronic mechanism in IL excitation of ZnS,CdS-Ag with H2+ ions, works at ions energy range 12-200 eV.
