Essay

The dissertation is dedicated to approach of testing mode of deformation of gas compressors pressure-pipeline system. To achieve a goal a mathematical derivation was maid and a device with a transducer was fabricated. The device implements the ultrasonic non-destructive testing method based on guided waves. Proposed method allows testing the mode of deformation of pipe metal wall in operation condition without samples. Metrological analysis of both derived method and fabricated device was preformed. Results of work were checked in laboratory and full-scale tests. A mathematical model of guided waves propagation in gas pipe wall was derived. In derived model, wave amplitude attenuation is taken into account. Corresponding to derived model calculations were performed by developed software.
