Essay

Object of research – physical processes of electric arc in discharging channels of plasmatrons. Subject of research – optimal rate parameters and geometric dimersions of discharging channels of plasmatrons, methods and ways of their improvement and resource characteristic of electrodes. Metods of research. To achieve the aim and obtain general results of thesis there were used analytical, numeral and up-to-date methods of experimental research. The dissertation is devoted to the problem of development of highly resourceful plasmatrons for processing of dispersive materials such as spraying, spheroidization, production of ultradispersive powders of micrometer and submicrometer sizes, crystal growing, the formation of condensation films. The author analyzes the results and drawbacks of theoretical and experimental investigation concerning the use of plasmatrons for processing of dispersive materials. The author also takes a very close look at new trends of increasing the efficiency of plasmatron production. The theoretical principles of calculations for plasmatrons are worked out and analyzed on the basis of theoretical investigation. The author presents a mathematical model and a computational algorithm of plasmatrons.
