The work has dedicated to study the pathogenesis of the adhesive capsulitis of the shoulder, diagnostic signs of the disease, to design the system of diagnostic and conservative treatment that depend on the stage of the pathology. To design the system of diagnostic and to find out the differential diagnostic criteria of adhesive capsulitis the data from clinical and complementary methods of investigation of 176 patients with abduction shoulder contractures were used. The assessment of initial condition of the shoulder and the results of the treatment were made by Constant and Murley scale in the time of treatment start, at the moment of discharging from the hospital, in 1 month and 1 year after the end of treatment. On the base of all performed investigations the system of diagnostic of adhesive capsulitis of the shoulder was made. High efficacy of new design scheme of the treatment that depends on the stage of disease was proved. The data that find out from investigation were applied to scientific andpractical activities
