The theoretical dependences of transit flow cooling rate in cooler water reservoirs of different types with surface and submerged water intake are determined as a result of experimental researches of operating process water supply systems at thermoelectric and nuclear power stations. The new methods of circulating water cooling for the process water supply systems with water reservoirs has been developed, as a result of which hydrothermal processes in cooling water reservoirs are intensified, water exchange is increasing, water intake temperature is decreasing.
