The results of investigations reveal that under the climatic conditions of Kyiv the Erica carnea L., Erica cinerea L., Erica terminalis Salisb., Erica tetralix L. carry our a complete cycle of seasonal development. The problems of resistance of Erica L. against unfavourable factors of environment have been elucidated. The complex evaluation of acclimatization success of studied species under the conditions of Ukrainian Woodlands and Forest-steppe has been worked out.
