The native economists innovative finance theory contribution and its importance for the future world monetary theory development, substantiation and carrying out finance and credit policy is characterized. The national specific of the financial study topics and methodology is also determined, which allow to segregate Ukrainian schools of financial thought. The integrated conception of financial thought formation as an independent field of knowledge at latter half of the XIX - beginning of the XX centuries is proved.
