Sinelnikova O. Mathematical models and method of analysis and optimization of electrical power system export potential

The thesis focuses on development of analysis techniques and optimisation of electric power system export potential in conditions of electric power market and taking into account an uncertainty. The method of analysis and optimisation of export potential of electric power system was developed. This method represents a multistage iterative procedure for solving the series of optimisation problems on the basis of stratified stochastic model of electric power system. It allows producing a complex estimation of investigated system, perform an estimation of possible export volumes, which results in more reliable and realistic control plans if compared to plans obtained on the basis of determinate models and methods. Analysis of the efficiency of the proposed method was performed on the example of the electric power system of Ukraine. Examination of obtained results demonstrates the efficiency of the proposed method of analysis and optimisation of export potential of an electric power system.
