Dissertational work is devoted to parametrical synthesis of ring working bodies without mechani-cal support on conditions that their movement in machines with direct drive is stable. Stable rotation of working bodies gives the opportunity to perform different useful work without power shaft and bearing blocks. Use of such working bodies in machines of various purpose allows to develop their new design with minimal number of details and expanded functionalities. By the example of a machine for cutting monocrystals, where the cutting tool doesn't have mechanical support, and a dynamic pump with a blade wheel without a bearing shaft and shaft seal, efficiency of machines of rational design which, at essential simplification, have higher reliability, smaller mass, dimensions and power consumption, is shown. The main scientific and technical problem solved in the work is the maintenance of steady rota-tion of working bodies without mechanical support under the action of a system of various external forces. For the decision of this problem external working forces are analyzed, mathematical model of steady rotation of working body is created and criteria of asymptotical stability of rotation which links potential forces, mass and external impedance is defined, methods of loading working bodies without mechanical support are determined. Results of theoretical research are confirmed experimentally. By means of working breadboard models it is shown that application of working bodies without mechanical support in cutting machines and dynamic pump is technically expedient and economically effective.
