Essay

Residual stresses reliving in pipelines circumferential welds is important process, aimed at arising their service life and reliability. As a result of researches conducted in the dissertation, justified theoretically and confirmed experimentally the new methods of determining of circumferential welds explosion treatment parameters, which are used for residual stresses reliving. New more effective processes of explosion treatment and nondestructive stresses measurement are developed. Fulfilled experiments show the efficiency of using of explosion treatment for increasing of the circumferential welds corrosion resistance in pipelines, which work in the media containing H2S. The results of this work were applied by different enterprises in Ukraine and also abroad.
