Essay

In the thesis the results of hydrodynamics and heat transfer investigations at forced cooling fluid movement in winding ducts with fluid flow washers have represented as collectors' influence corrected factors on standard singular head losses, nonstandard singular head losses and heat transfer criteria equations of winding surface. Hydrodynamics and heat transfer numerical models of the duct laminar parts and their calculation results of treatment methodology were elaborated. Thermal-hydraulic one-dimensional method of hydraulic losses and temperature maps of windings with fluid flow washers has developed, on the basis of obtained investigation results and classic hydraulic and heat transfer equations. Using the developed method there is done the comparison calculation results with experimental data, obtained from full-size physical model as well as with other calculation results on basis of methods, detailed in literature. The design recommendations for this type of winding in the view of their thermal performance were proposed.
