Essay

The research object is the Lypniazhka granite-gneiss monocline and its framing; the research purpose is to define on the basis of complex study of Lypniazhka granite-gneiss structure (LGGS), and its framing, the basic stages of geological development of structure and mechanisms of its formation; the research methods are: detailed structural-mineral zonation, B. Blumenfeld’s crystalls pressing method, M.Gzovskiy’s cracks analysis method, P.Nikolaev’s statistical method, V.Parfenov’s structural-kinematical method; scientific novelty is that LGGS is firstly assigned to the granite-gneissic monocline type structures; a structural inconsistency between northern part of LGGS and substratum rocks is firstly demonstrated; strained-deformational conditions during formation of uneven-aged structural LGGS’s paragenesises are firstly determined; rheological and deformational mechanisms of LGGS formation are proposed.
