Vasilas S. Metalloosteosintesis and metallocemential osteosynthesis of near-intraarticulate fracture of bones at elderly and senile people (clinical and experimental study)

The dissertation is dedicated to the improvement of the operative treatment results of elderly and senile age patients with the near-intraarticulate fractures of bones. On the basis of implemented clinical-laboratorial-experimental researches the differential approach is suggested to the traditional osteosynthesis indications, by blocking crews, metallo-cemential, depending on the localization and bone fracture character by AO classification, availability of bone tissue osteoporosis, and age of patient. The advantages of osteosynthesis by blocking crews and metallo-cemential osteosynthesis during osteoporosis have been biomechanicaly substantiated in the work. In the experiment on animals the administration influence of polymethylmetaacrilat cement in the canal under the crew at an osteosynthesis of metaphase tibial bone fracture to reparative osteogenesis has been studied. As a result of the offered operative treatment ways application at the elderly and senile age patients, who have had near-intraarticulate fracture of bones, a good remote results have been observed at 70,2%, satisfactory – 29,8%, unsatisfactory – results are not revealed.
