Essay

Thesis deals with the investigation of the general properties of the ground states of the atomic nuclei and with self-consistent calculation of nuclear-nuclear potential. The obtained ground state properties well agree with the experimental data in the wide range of atomic nuclei. It was shown that the nuclear component of the potential depends on the neutron numbers in colliding isotopes and the height and width of the potential barrier depend on the diffuseness parameter of density distribution in interacting nuclei. Realistic values of the diffuseness parameter of nuclear interaction should be close to 0.8-0.9 fm.
