In dissertation is stated complete annotated ecological-faunal list of wetland birds of Forest and Forest-Steppe zones of Ukraine; the advanced classification wetlands of Ukrainian Forest and Forest-steppe is offered; the bird species and taxonomical diversity in various types of specified wetlands biotopes are investigated and estimated; the species, which can be indicators of the basic stages of wetlands complexes succession in the researched region are determined.
