The dissertation is devoted to the study of the involvement of proteinases and the system of poly-ADP-ribosylation in radiation-induced apoptosis of the rat thymus and spleen lymphoid cells. Increase in the level of DNA single- and double-strand breaks, as well as increase of the rate of Ca2+-, Mg2+-dependent polydeoxyribonucleotide accumulation, have been demonstrated. The injection of riboxine resulted in the normalization of investigated parameters.
