Essay

The phytoplankton primary production and taxonomical composition in the Dnieper medium tributary (the Teteriv river an example) have been studied. High phytoplankton in the Teteriv river has been found to be maintained by increased algal assimilation activiti in the mesotrophic river stretches and their gret abundance in the eutrophic ones. The complete floristic list of the Teteriv river planktonic algae and their occurrence rate have been given.
