Essay

The thesis is devoted to the investigation of properties of the infinite topological semigroup of matrix units and of the topological Brandt Lambda-extensions of topological semigroups. The semigroup topologizations of the infinite semigroup of matrix units are investigated. It is proved that arbitrary topological Brandt Lambda-extension of the semigroup S preserve H-closedness and absolute H-closedness in the class of topological inverse semigroups.
