In the Thesis, the effect of thermal defects on the magnetic susceptibility of silicon monocrystals has been investigated and analysed. The features of formation of magnetic properties of silicon whiskers prepared. The models for interpretation of the magnetic susceptibility peculiarities established have been proposed on the basis of results of X-ray diffraction studies, analysis of infrared spectra, microhardness measurements and investigation of structural defects by the method of selective etching.
