Essay

The thesis is dedicated to the study of expression of markers in dysplastic and neoplastic processes of uterine cervix for the improvement of their hystological diagnostics. The intensity of processes of proliferation, differentiation and oncotransformation in displastic and neoplastic processes and their relation to persistent oncogenic human papillomavirus infec-tion was studied in this assay. Correlation between the nature and the degree of extent of displastic and neoplastic processes and intensity of expression of immunohistochemical markers was determined for the first time. Categories for evaluation of expression of immunohistochemical markers were developed as a result of complex re-search. Sensitivity, specificity, negative predictive value, positive predictive value for use of evaluation of expression of each marker for detection of displastic lesions, presence of oncogenic human papillomaviruses and grade of tumor differentiation were defined.
