Object of research. Hip-Spine syndrome in elderly patients. The purpose. To improve results of treatment hip-spine syndrome in elderly patients. Methods of research: clinical, radiological, biochemical and immunological, electrophysiological, densytometrical, biomechanical and statistical. Scientific novelty.For the first time was established two types hip-spine syndrome by activity of process and certain dynamics of clinical, roentgenologic and laboratory-instrumental indexes. Scientific work demonstrate age-related peculiarity of the bone and joist system in elderly patients. Various types of osteoinsufficiency to display in all patients. Was established structural lesion of all components hip-spine system. During scientific work complex therapy is improved, offered the chart of successive treatment of patients on stationary, ambulatory stages. It is improved and first approved the row of facilities of conservative treatment: Laser therapy, complex blockade of spine, it is developed and approved the charts of application of preparations "Structum" and "L-lisin aescinat". Developed method of fight alternative, in relation to against pain. Clinical approbation of the research work lead to the high affectivity of pathogenetic oriented treatment in elderly patients with Hip-Spine syndrome. It was reduction of pain in all patients, and decrease of functional disorders in 84,0% patients. Results of research are introduced into clinical practice at the Institute of Spine and Joint pathology named after prof. M.I. Sytenko Academy of Medical Sciences of the Ukraine, Kharkov, the Lviv and Kharkov hospitals, in the education process of Lviv and Kharkov medical universities. Orthopedics and traumatology
