Pogoryelova I. Korean question in foreign policy of USA (90-s of XX - beginning of XXI c.).

It is the first time in the history of Ukrainian historiography that the general analysis of the US policy as to Korean peninsula in the new international relations of postbepolar epoque has been carried out in the thesis. The process of formation and practical realization of the US policy relating to components of the Korean question such as the North Korean nuclear-missile program, the national unification of the Korean peninsula, the American-South Korean military-political union, has been studied. The international factors of impact on the modern American policy concerning the Korean question are analyzed. In order to profoundly realise the modern US policy concerning the Korean question the historic roots of the Korean problems, the evolution of Washington's Korean police in the years of cold war are examined.
