Essay

Dissertation work is devoted to the further development of the theory, calculation and design of power sources (PS) traditional type for MAG. It is determined, that an optimum variant of the biphasic scheme of rectifier PS is the scheme with series associated rectifiers which are assembled by the two-half-period scheme with one middle point: one - controllable, another - uncontrollable. There is created PS for MAG on the basis of proposed scheme of rectifying which feeds from the threephase -biphase transformer. New designs of three-phase and threephase-biphase transformers with winded core which enables to lower weight and cost up to 28% in comparison with existing analogues. New designs of transformers can be used as at design of PS with various slopes of voltage-current characteristics (VCC), and in other electrotechnical devices. It is determined, that to guarantee the minimal sprinkling by MAG welding it is necessary to apply a reactor, with core which is not saturated by the high current by shortcircuit situation. It is proposed to use the complex analysis dotty dynamic VCC together with oscillograms and histograms of distribution of values welding current and voltage values as criteria of an estimation welding properties PS together with temporary characteristics of short circuits.
