Оbject of investigation: the Ln (III) complexes with derivatives of oxoquinoline-3-carboxylic acid. Aim of investigation:search of new analytical forms based on the lanthanide complexes with derivatives of oxoquinoline-3-carboxylic acid for luminescent determination of biologically active substances.Aim of investigation:search of new analytical forms based on lanthanide complexes with derivatives of oxoquinoline-3-carboxylic acid for luminescent determination of biologically active substances. Methods of investigation and instruments: spectrophotometry and luminescence spectroscopy. Results: The possibility of formation of intensive luminescent complexes based on the 2-oxo-4-hydroxy-quinoline-3-carboxylic acid derivatives with lanthanide ions of cerium (Eu (III), Sm (III)) as well as yttrium (Tb (III), Dy (III)) subgroups has been established. In result new enhancement solution for multiplex labeling in immunofluorescence assay has been offered. It has been shown, that the maximal values of both quantumyields (Ф) and lifetimes of excitation state of the studied complexes can be obtained in the water solution without application of organic solvents, surfactants, synergetic agents. Thus these analytical forms can be used more easy in the bioassay. It has been shown, that for luminescent determination of the components which do not form ternary complexes in systems Tb (Eu) - L - DNA (phosphate - ions, Cu (II), H2O2), but either increase (DNA) or decrease (phosphate - ions, Cu (II), H2O2) the lanthanide luminescence, it is necessary to use the ratio of components concentrations Ln(ІІІ): sensitizer = 1 : 1 or 2 : 1. Double complexes Ln (ІІІ) - sensitizer with a high quantum yield (Ф > 0.4 for ions Tb and Ф > 0.1 for ions Eu) are using for the determination of quenchers. Weak luminescent complexes are efficient for the determination of DNA.The new analytical forms based on the Tb(III) complexes for high-sensitive luminescent determination of DNA as well as the studying of intercalative interaction of antiviral drugs with DNA molecules have been developed. Field of application: bioanalytical chemistry.
