Essay

Purpose - the іmprovement the shape of the pressure characteristic of a small-size screw-type pump stage and elaboration of guidance to its design. Methods: methods of computation flow simulation and experimental metods. Results: elaborated physical model of the flow in the passages of the stage at non-optimal modes of operation. The possibility of extend range of operation of small-size screw-type pump stage is proved. Precondition for elaborate the dimension-type range of borehole pumps, based on investigated stage, was created. Scientific-metodical guidance of design of a small-size screw-type pump stage with improved shape of the pressure characteristic was elaborated. Area of use: pump building industry.
