Pastukh B. Volodymyr Vynnychenko's early novels: evolution of the genre consciousness and dynamics of the moral-ethic conception.

The subject of the dissertation research is Volodymyr Vynnychenko's early novels in the aspect of moral-ethic problems and genre specificity. The parameters of the central idea of the "honesty with oneself" in the author's great epic forms are defined. Its appearance, development and artistic growth are shown. The moral-ethic problems revealed themselves in all various genre layers of Vynnychenko's creativity and distinctly sounded in the genre of the novel. Also the characters of the heroes are analyzed in the aspect of their orientation on the central ideological sphere. Vynnychenko's reception by his contemporaries is traced. The sharp tone of the criticism is considered, caused by the author's overstepping the limits of the moral-ethic traditional paradigm.
