Essay

The work shows a result of surgical treatment to cerebral AVMs with different terms of ruptures in 145 cases. Consequences of AVM's ruptures are intracebral hemorrhage (46,2%) and ventricular and combinated hemorrhage in the minority. Evidence for surgical treatment was determined in 132 cases: 60 patients were surged transcranial, 49 - endovascular with various ranges of reduction and in 18 cases consistent combined treatment was applied. The received results were analyzed depending on location and hemodinamical peculiarities of AVMs: diagnosed terms of ruptures, their neurological presentations and, finally, on technology of surgical treatment. Good results after surgical treatment were registered in 53,8% cases; satisfactory . in 9,6%; unsatisfactory and overlooked results, that were not accompanied by improving of patient's state of health, in 36,6%.
