Objectiveness of curves of hardiness, offered by different authors for illustration of Shelford's ecological law has been checked in the conditions of the laboratory experiment. It is shoved that graphs of function of increase of different organs of Arnica montana L. have the shape not only Gause' curve or parabola, but may belong to other types have been found.
