The role of separate ecological factors in the process of formation reducing conditions in soil. New definition of the term "reducing conditions" was offered.The process of formation of orstiens was restored in laboratory conditions, its complete dependence on oxidizing - reducing regime of soil was proved, its theoretical model was elaborated. Peculiarities of content and distribution of iron and manganese formations in homogeneous brown-podzol gleic soil of Pre-Carpathian region, its structure and quantity of acid-soluble iron and manganese in it were identified.
