Koval S. Agroecological Condition of Drained Peat Lands and Development of Measures of its Conservation and Ensuring of High Productivity

The Dissertation deals with the data of estimation of soil-conservation condition of drained peat lands in Rivnenska region. It is determined that the value of balance of organic matter of peat in a complicated cereal and cereal-legumes mixtures the most effective are in the following variants of fertilizers: biohumus 5 t/ha + lime 5 t/ha, N60P60K90, N60P60K90+ lime 5 t/ha. The research, which has been carried out, allowed to propose the ways of use of drained peat lands which ensure conservation of organic matter in peat and increase its productivity. It is recommended for agriculture, in case of meadow formation, to use mixed permanent cereal herbage (Cock's-Foot Grass + Eastern Boon + Timothy Grass + Fenugreek Perennial) at application of lime 5 t/ha + treatment of seeds at sowing by growth a development promoting factor, what ensures a yield of hay up to 97,5 centners/hectar
