Object - maximum runoff of spring flood in the basin Severskiy Donets river. Purpose -reasons scientifically and methodical base for setting of norms computation characteristics of maximum runoff of spring flood in the basin Severskiy Donets. Methods are a statistical analysis of generalization of data of maximum water discharges and layers of runoff spring flood, numeral determination of characteristics of hydrography of slope in flow, spatial generalization of computation parameters of offered method. Novelty - offered more in theory reasons method from setting of norms of characteristics maximum runoff of spring flood, in the comparison with existing in Ukraine, which is realized on materials of rivers in the basin Severskiy Donets. Introduced of hydrology of the dry land of Odessa State Environmental University are inculcated with the complement of interim report after the state theme ,,Vater resources Ukraine'' (DR № 0103U005145).
